She starred in the Broadway musicals 42nd Street and Grey Gardens, winning two Tony Awards. She has co-starred on the TBS sitcom Sullivan & Son, in which she played Carol Walsh, and earned an Emmy Award nomination for her work in One Life to Live. Since 2019, she has played the role of Dottie on Bob Hearts Abishola.

His career spanned 65 years, gaining him recognition for his performances in film, stage, and television. He received multiple accolades, including an Academy Award, two Tony Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards and a Grammy Award nomination―making him the only Canadian recipient of the "Triple Crown of Acting" to also acquire a Grammy nomination. He made his Broadway debut in 1954 and continued to act in leading roles on stage, playing Cyrano de Bergerac in Cyrano (1974), Iago in Othello, as well as playing the titular roles in Hamlet at Elsinore (1964), Macbeth, King Lear, and Barrymore. He formerly coached at Eastern Michigan. He is also a former defensive coordinator with the Syracuse Orange of the Atlantic Coast Conference before being let go along with the rest of Scott Shafer's staff. He previously served as the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach for the UCLA Bruins under head coach Rick Neuheisel. Promoted from linebackers coach in January 2009, Bullough succeeded DeWayne Walker, who was hired as the head coach of the New Mexico State Aggies.
