He played in Major League Baseball for the Cleveland Indians, Washington Senators / Texas Rangers, and Kansas City Royals from 1968 through 1977. He also served as one of the broadcasters for the Milwaukee Brewers on Fox Sports Wisconsin.

David Lawrence Nicholson (born August 29, 1939) is a former outfielder for the Baltimore Orioles (1960 and 1962), Chicago White Sox (1963–1965), Houston Astros (1966) and Atlanta Braves (1967), known for his towering, although infrequent, home runs. In 1964, he hit a home run measured at 573 feet (175 m) onto-and-over the left-field roof of Chicago's Comiskey Park. Nicholson threw and batted right-handed and was listed as 6 feet 2 inches (1.88 m) tall and 215 pounds (98 kg). While playing in Chicago, his tape-measure home runs earned him the nickname "Big Nick".

He also played one season in Japan for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp in 1984. Rajsich, whose last name is pronounced "Ray-Sich", was a southpaw pitcher known as "The Blade" because he was so tall and thin (6 ft 5 in (1.96 m), 175).

Born in Panama City, he threw and batted left-handed, stood 6 feet (1.8 m) tall and weighed 172 pounds (78 kg).

David Arthur Roberts (September 11, 1944 – January 9, 2009) was an American professional baseball player. He played in Major League Baseball as a left-handed pitcher from 1969 to 1981 for eight teams. He was second in the National League (NL) with a 2.10 earned run average (ERA) in 1971 for the San Diego Padres, after which he was traded to the Houston Astros, where he spent the four most productive years of his career. Roberts was also a member of the 1979 World Series winning Pittsburgh Pirates team. Over his major league career he won 103 games.

David Grant Rohde (born May 8, 1964) is a former utility infielder in Major League Baseball, playing mainly as a second baseman from 1990 through 1992 for the Houston Astros and Cleveland Indians. Listed at 6' 2", 180 lb., he was a switch hitter and threw right handed. Born in Los Altos, California, Rohde grew up in Newport Beach, California. He attended University of Arizona, where he played for the Arizona Wildcats baseball team that won the 1986 College World Series. He then was selected by the Astros in the 5th round of the 1986 MLB Draft.

Early in his career, Sisler was a starter, then later was used as a middle reliever and occasionally as a closer. David Rotchford Stenhouse (born September 12, 1933) is a former pitcher in Major League Baseball who played for the Washington Senators from 1962 to 1964. Stenhouse batted and threw right-handed. Stenhouse attended Westerly High School, where he was captain of the school's basketball team; he was named Rhode Island athlete of the year after the 1950–51 season. Stenhouse played college baseball for the University of Rhode Island, and was an amateur free agent signing of the Chicago Cubs in 1955. He spent four years in the Cubs' farm system. With the Lafayette Oilers in 1956, Stenhouse had a 16–4 win–loss record and a 1.92 earned run average (ERA) in 26 games. The Los Angeles Dodgers' 16th-round selection in the 1975 MLB draft, Stewart's MLB playing career spanned from 1978 through 1995, winning three World Series championships all with different clubs while compiling a career 3.95 earned run average (ERA) and a 168–129 won–lost record, including winning 20 games in four consecutive seasons. He pitched for the Dodgers, Texas Rangers, Philadelphia Phillies, Oakland Athletics, and Toronto Blue Jays.

David Andrew Szott (born December 12, 1967) is a former professional American football offensive lineman. Szott played 14 years in the National Football League for the Kansas City Chiefs, the Washington Redskins, and the New York Jets, before retiring from football in February 2004. He remained with the Jets as an offensive line coach and in player development. Szott became the team's chaplain in 2006. Szott played college football at Penn State for legendary football coach Joe Paterno.
