Eric Johann Johnson (born August 7, 1979) is a Canadian actor known for playing Flash Gordon on the eponymous 2007–2008 television series, Whitney Fordman on the science-fiction series Smallville, Detective Luke Callaghan on the police drama Rookie Blue, and Jack Hyde in the Fifty Shades film series. Since 2022, he has played a misogynist corrupt sheriff in the HBO Max horror series Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin.

Eric James Knott (born September 23, 1974) is an American former professional baseball pitcher who played Major League Baseball for two seasons. He pitched for the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2001 and the Montreal Expos in 2003, playing in 16 career games. Knott attended Florida Southwestern State College and Stetson University, and in 1994 he played collegiate summer baseball with the Harwich Mariners of the Cape Cod Baseball League. He was selected by the Diamondbacks in the 24th round of the 1996 MLB Draft.

Eric Henry Laakso (November 29, 1956 – December 25, 2010) was an NFL offensive tackle and guard who played seven seasons with the Miami Dolphins, a tenure which included two Super Bowls. After high school at Killingly in Danielson, CT he attended Tulane University, where he majored in civil engineering and played offensive tackle from 1975 to 1977 and was honored as the 1976–77 Tulane Athlete of the year. Laakso was selected 106th overall by the Dolphins in the fourth round of the 1978 NFL Draft. Laakso resided in South Florida and was active with NFL Alumni functions.

Eric Patrick Moore (born January 28, 1965) is a former American football guard who played for the New York Giants (1988–1993), the Cincinnati Bengals (1994), the Cleveland Browns (1995) and the Miami Dolphins (1995). Moore was drafted in the first round (tenth overall) of the 1988 NFL Draft. He was a starter for the Giants in their Super Bowl XXV triumph. Moore lived in the Wolf Creek subdivision in Macon, Georgia for a while and his nickname in college was "PK".
