She was especially known for her role as Magda in the HBO series Sex and the City, which she also played in the 2008 film of the same name and its 2010 sequel, and for portraying Mags in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

Lynn Fontanne (/fɒnˈtæn/; 6 December 1887 – 30 July 1983) was an English actress. After early success in supporting roles in the West End, she met the American actor Alfred Lunt, whom she married in 1922 and with whom she co-starred in Broadway and West End productions over the next four decades. They became known as "The Lunts", and were celebrated on both sides of the Atlantic. The Lunts retired from the stage in 1960, and lived at their home in Genesee Depot, Wisconsin, where, after outliving her husband by six years, Fontanne died at the age of 95.

Mabel Barrison (April 21, 1882 - November 1, 1912) was a Canadian born American stage actress and singer in the first decade of the 20th century. She was born Eva Farrance and joined a musical chorus while still in her teens. She appeared in vaudeville and on Broadway with Weber and Fields and was spotted by stage director Julian Mitchell for a role in the 1903 Babes in Toyland. "The Blue Mouse" was written by Clyde Fitch and Fitch himself selected Barrison for a role in the play. Barrison was plagued by health problems the last two years of her life. She died on November 1, 1912 in Toronto at the age of 30.

The Fantastic Adventures scandal was a 2019 scandal in involving the YouTube channel Fantastic Adventures, run by Machelle Hackney Hobson of Maricopa, Arizona, United States. The scandal began when one of Hobson's biological children contacted the police after witnessing her adopted siblings (Felipe, Summer, Elijah, Hailey, Jacob, Grayson and one unidentified child) being systematically abused by her mother. Fantastic Adventures gained worldwide media attention because of Hobson's motive of abuse towards the adopted children.
