Free PDF Calendar Generator
Download a print-ready PDF calendar for any month — or any range of months — completely free, with no account required. Choose from five designs, set your date range, and click Download PDF. All files are formatted for US Letter paper (8.5″ × 11″).
How to Create a Printable PDF Calendar
- 1 Choose your start month and year. This is the first month that appears in your calendar. If you only need one month, leave the end date matching the start.
- 2 Set the end month and year for multi-month PDFs. Each month gets its own page in the file. You can generate up to 24 consecutive months at once.
- 3 Pick a style. Classic Grid is the safest choice for general use. Planner is great if you want to write notes directly on the printed calendar.
- 4 Click "Download PDF." The file downloads immediately. Open it in any PDF viewer and print on standard 8.5″ × 11″ paper at 100% scale.
About the Calendar Styles
Not sure which design to pick? Here's what makes each style distinct:
Classic Grid
The most familiar calendar format: uniform black borders around every day cell, day-of-week headers on a light gray background, and a clean centered month title. No color, no distractions — just a reliable grid that works for schools, offices, and homes.
Modern Blue
A contemporary take with a deep indigo header banner, an indigo day-of-week row, and soft blue-tinted grid lines. Weekend columns get a subtle blue wash. Polished enough for a home office wall or a professional workspace.
Bold Warm
High contrast and immediately readable. A rich amber-on-dark-brown header, large date numbers (16 pt), and an amber day-row make this calendar easy to read from across a kitchen or classroom. Great for shared family spaces.
Planner
Each day cell includes a date number at the top plus three light ruled lines below for handwritten notes, tasks, or reminders. Ideal for printing and writing directly on the calendar — no sticky notes required.
Minimal
No cell boxes — just soft horizontal rules separating each week row, with a faint vertical line for the Sunday column. A large watermark month name sits behind the grid. The result is clean, editorial, and ink-saving.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the calendar generator really free?
Yes — completely free, with no strings attached. There is no watermark (beyond a small website credit in the PDF footer), no account required, and no limit on downloads. Generate as many calendars as you like.
What paper size do the PDFs use?
All calendars are formatted for US Letter: 8.5″ wide by 11″ tall. This is the standard size in the United States and Canada, and the default stocked in most home and office printers. If you're in a country that uses A4, select "fit to page" in your print dialog and the calendar will scale cleanly.
Can I generate an entire year at once?
Yes. Set the start month to January and the end month to December of the same year. You'll get a 12-page PDF with one month per page, ready to print and bind. You can generate up to 24 consecutive months in a single file.
Does this work offline or require an internet connection?
Once the page has loaded, the PDF is generated entirely in your browser using JavaScript — nothing is sent to a server. If you lose your internet connection after the page loads, you can still generate and download calendars. Your selections stay private on your device.
Do I need to install any software?
No. The tool runs in any modern web browser on desktop, laptop, or tablet. Just visit the page, make your selections, and click Download PDF. No plugins, no apps, no extensions needed.
Can I edit the PDF after downloading?
The downloaded file is a standard PDF, so you can annotate it in Adobe Acrobat, Preview (macOS), or free tools like PDF24 or Foxit. If you want to hand-write on the calendar, the Planner style includes ruled lines in each day cell so you can print and write directly on the page.
Does the calendar include holidays?
Not at the moment. The generator creates clean, blank calendars without pre-marked holidays, which keeps them flexible for personal, professional, and international use. After downloading, you can add holidays with any PDF annotation tool, or just write them in if you're using the Planner style.
The PDF looks cropped or scaled when I print — what do I do?
Open the PDF in your viewer and set the print scale to 100% (Actual size). In Windows, open the file in Microsoft Edge or Adobe Reader and look for "Page sizing" → "Actual size." On macOS, open in Preview and choose "Scale to fit" off, then set Paper Size to Letter. Avoid "Fit to page" unless you're printing on A4, which will slightly resize the layout.
Does the calendar start on Sunday or Monday?
The calendars start on Sunday, following the standard US week layout. This matches the most common printed calendar format sold in North American stores.
